Designing for Wellness

This 30 minute presentation will guide us to understand the trends that are influencing residential design in a Post-Covid era. We will look at how coating technologies can help contribute to well-being, with respect to indoor air quality, odours and mold and mildew. We will briefly review the biophilic design elements that harness the power of nature to promote physical and emotional well-being. Finally we will explore the role that colour plays in promoting a feeling of well-being within a space.

Victoria supports the residential interior designer and architectural market with colour and paint specifications, she also provides continuing education for designers and industry partners. She works with the Sherwin Williams Canadian design and marketing team. Throughout her 15 years with Sherwin Williams, Victoria has been a guest speaker at various industry events to discuss Forecasted Trends, DIY tips and tricks, Products and Sheens and so much more. She regularly attends and participates in Design Industry events such as Design Expos, Virtual Seminars and local Home and Garden shows. Victoria has a diploma in Interior Decorating from Fanshawe College and is currently enrolled in online courses to improve her skillset and stay up to date on the newest design innovations and techniques.
